About the ASRS v1.1
The Adult ADHD Self-Report Scale was developed by the World Health Organization with researchers including Ronald Kessler and Lenard Adler. Its 18 items mirror the DSM criteria for ADHD, rephrased for adult life.
Part A and Part B
Part A's six questions are the most predictive and form the screener. Part B's twelve questions give extra detail about inattention, hyperactivity and impulsivity.
How ASRS scoring works
Each item is answered Never, Rarely, Sometimes, Often or Very Often. Some items count when answered Sometimes or more, others at Often or more. Four or more counted items in Part A is a positive screen.
ASRS PDF vs online version
The paper version needs manual scoring. This online version applies the same thresholds instantly and shows your domain scores.
